About Us
CodeGreen USA is a nonprofit established
under the umbrella of Planning Associates
LLC to advocate, encourage and assist
local government and communities.
The "Green Audit" phase of CodeGreen
USA's mission includes a review of how the
local zoning and/or land development code
deals with project Location, Design, Green
factors, and Energy considerations as well
as a review of applicable administrative
processes. Using experience from over 30
years in the field, our extensive review
applicants. Recent reviews have focused
on provisions for renewables. Our "Green
Audit" assessment is the framework for any
related zoning or land development code
amendments.

- Our mission is to assist counties, cities and towns in developing green and
sustainable land use plans, zoning and land development codes.
- Our “Green Audits” review adopted land use plans, zoning and land
development for barriers to greener development and evaluates how these
regulations address today’s energy and climate change issues.
- We support local sustainability efforts.
- Our Lots 2 Green program assists communities to facilitate the reuse of
vacant lots and other urban lands for community gardens and farms,
mitigation, parks and open space areas.
